I live in Marseille - can I pick up my order directly?
Of course. You can collect your order in person in Marseille (13011 or city center). This service is offered to help you avoid shipping fees, so please make sure to follow the pickup details provided. If you have any questions or need clarification, feel free to contact us at: moka.mysore@gmail.com
What materials are used for the bags?
The bags are made from recycled plastic, and the pouches are made from recycled silk (reused saris).
Are the bags durable?
Yes. In Mysore, these baskets are part of everyday life and are used for many years, by both women and men, often to carry heavy groceries. Their specific weaving technique offers a balance between strength, durability and aesthetics. They are designed to last, but they remain handmade pieces: if you notice any weaving issues, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Do the bags lose their color?
The recycled plastic cords are dyed through the material, allowing them to retain their vibrant colors over time. Small variations or irregularities may still appear, as recycled materials are used. We simply recommend avoiding leaving your bag in direct sunlight for long periods, in order to preserve the intensity of the colors. If you notice any unusual color fading, please contact us.
Can I choose my pouch?
The availability of our colorful pouches varies. We do our best to match the colors with your selection, adding a touch of surprise to your order. Enjoy the variety of shades and let yourself be surprised by the vibrant color that will accompany your bag.
What colors are available for scoubidou bags?
Available colors are: black, silver, gold, white, light cream (lighter), cream (darker), military green, burgundy, dark red, light red, orange, neon orange, mustard, yellow, neon yellow, purple, dark pink, neon pink, light pink, dark purple, navy blue, light blue (sky), turquoise, dark green, neon green, light green (apple), green.

What colors are available for crochet bags?
Available colors are: cream, green, neon green, military green, light blue, dark blue, yellow/mustard, neon yellow, brown/burgundy, orange, light pink, neon pink.
Can I choose the handle length?
Yes, only for a custom order. You can find more information about bag customization here.
Can the bag be worn over the shoulder?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It simply depends on the handle length. In the photos, you will see that some bags have long handles (especially medium and large sizes), while others have shorter handles designed to be carried by hand or on the arm (often small and mini sizes). There is no strict standard: each piece is made intuitively. This is also what gives charm to this craftsmanship and makes each bag unique. Sometimes a small bag can be worn on the shoulder, sometimes a medium one cannot — it all depends on the weaving, the balance of the bag and the intuition of the artisan who made it. If you would like a specific handle length, a custom-made option is always possible.

How long does it take to make a scoubidou bag?
Between 2 and 12 hours of weaving, depending on the size of the bag and the experience of our artisans.
How long does it take to make a crochet bag?
Between 3 and 14 hours of weaving, depending on the size of the bag and the experience of our artisans.
What are the shipping times for available products?
We take 1–2 days to process your order. Delivery times depend on the carrier and your location. On average: 2 to 4 business days for France, and 2 to 8 business days for Europe.
What are the shipping times for custom orders?
Timelines vary greatly (between 2 weeks and 3 months). When you place your order, if a shipment has already left India, you will need to wait for the next one. In some cases, direct shipping from India may be possible (additional fees apply).

I received a damaged item. What can I do?
We’re very sorry to hear that. Simply send us a photo of the damaged item along with a short description to: moka.mysore@gmail.com and we will send you a similar replacement as soon as possible. Please note that we keep a small stock, and we hope to replace your order as best as possible. We kindly ask for your understanding. We will always try to find the best solution for you, but we cannot guarantee having the exact same item available, as each bag is unique. In some cases, a custom remake in India may be considered, which can take some time.
I still haven’t received my order. What should I do?

International shipping may occasionally take longer due to customs clearance. Unfortunately, we are not responsible for carrier delays.
Do you have a refund policy?
We do our best to resolve any issue you may encounter with your order. Refunds are possible within 14 days of purchase, and only for non-sale and non-custom items. Custom-made orders, personalized items, imperfect items, sale items, special editions and gift cards are non-refundable. For more information, please refer to our refund policy.
What kind of imperfections might I notice?
All our bags are handmade, piece by piece, and not mass-produced. This means that small irregularities may occur — they are part of the charm and authenticity of handcrafted work. You may notice a slight shift in the weaving or color alignment, less symmetrical finishing on handles or cords, small marks caused by transport, or, for silk pouches, loose threads or uneven stitching. These details are not considered defects, but the signature of handmade craftsmanship and the trace of the hands behind each piece.
